I grew up in sunny South Carolina, and as a writer and poet i’m interested in the ways people tell stories—about themselves, about culture, and the world around them. My work ranges from essays and criticism, to creative pieces that focus on identity, gender, sexuality, and the everyday moments that stick with us.

I also write longer philosophical projects that let me follow my curiosity wherever it leads.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably reading, rollerskating, or hunting down a  Diet Coke.
