I grew up in beautiful South Carolina and as a writer and poet i’m interested in the ways people tell stories—about themselves, about culture, and  the world around them. My work ranges from essays and criticism to creative pieces that focus on identity, gender, sexuality, and the everyday moments that stick with us.

I also write longer projects that let me follow my curiosity wherever it leads.

When I’m not writing, I’m probably reading, rollerkatking, or hunting down a  Diet Coke.
